Magnetic. Inspirational. Trustworthy. Great leaders stand out because they energize, excite, and elevate us. They foster open-minded thinking and constructive risk taking. As an executive, you are held to a very high standard; you are charged with being accountable, compassionate and visionary. You are expected to consistently align your values and actions, and successfully convey the common end goal to those you lead.

This is difficult under normal circumstances, but today’s executives face even more challenges than ever. To name a few: maintaining a work/life balance in an “always on” culture, juggling multiple new and changing technology platforms, learning quickly enough to keep up in our knowledge economy, and of course managing the stress that comes with all of this. Even the most skillful executives need help adapting themselves to become the leaders they want to be.

The idea of coaching is to build a relationship with the sole purpose of supporting you in making the positive behavior change necessary to be the kind of leader you want to be. As an executive coach, I partner and collaborate with you in a nonjudgmental way. I’ll assist you in crafting a detailed vision of the change you seek, explore the inner resources that will help you make those changes, and hold you accountable for reaching your goals.

We’ll take a deep dive into your untapped potential – those strengths that coupled with your values and purpose will help you attain every aspect of your vision for growth. At the same time you will learn how to manage those areas you are weaker in. In a safe, and confidential environment, I'll gently challenge your assumptions as we explore your dreams and goals. I’ll also be your personal sounding board and encourage you to reach outside your comfort zone. As an outsider I can often see things you might have become blind to, which will help broaden your perspective.

Besides a vision for leadership, I coach executives around many issues and skills. For example:

  • career change
  • building social intelligence
  • managing energy so it’s available when you need it most
  • understand how you’re perceived
  • averting decision fatigue
  • strengths development
  • motivating others
  • managing your emotions
  • building cognitive agility, the ability to shift your focus completely from one task to another (the antithesis of multi-tasking)

To prime yourself for taking on the challenges of personal and professional growth, there are useful strategies I can teach you to quickly integrate into your daily routine. They will assist you in creating an on-going self-renewal process, even as your resources are continuously tapped. These include learning to relax in seconds, sustaining your energy without spikes and troughs, and boosting the decision-making power of your brain.

If you have a genuine ambition to be the best leader you can be, I can help you.
